About the Author

Barnaby Rudge

Barnaby Rudge belongs to a family that ran a household removal business and a wedding car business. In 1940, Barnaby was born in Barking, East London, when his father, Joe Rudge, was fighting in the war. It was a very tough time for Barnaby’s mother because she alone handled all the business activities. During World War 2, Barnaby learned the business measures because his Dad was not there to familiarize him with the business features.

As a professional, he still holds his family business of household removal, but he also has a passion for writing as well. He wants to highlight some of the amazing moments of his life among the generations. This is the reason Barnaby introduced his two autobiographies, “The Life Lived and Loved: Thanks Again Mr Barham,” which are his second releases.

About the Book

A Life Lived and Loved, Thanks AgainMr. Barham

By Author Anthony B Gendreau

The book begins with the extraordinary bravery shown by Brian’s siblings, Phil and Graham. Phil was working as usual in the yard when he noticed a horrifying incident in which two Black guys were stabbing a knife at a White guy. Phil used his strength to save the victim, for which he received an award from the Royal Humane Society. Similarly, Graham, another brother of Brian, also saved a man’s life, which was a total coincidence. Brian takes you into his childhood, where he introduces readers to his ‘Nan’, his grandmother. The adventures with Mr. Fox, a regular client of Brian’s Grandpa, are amazing to read.

Brian Rudge started to work with his father when he was fifteen years old. His friends, Tony and Bernard, also joined Brian in his father’s household removal business. Making it more interesting, the author makes you familiar with his passion for a ‘Jazz Club.’ Meeting Beryl is one of the most interesting parts of this autobiography, as Brian went on a caravan at Clacton with his two friends, Jimmy and Bernard. All three boys met with three girls; Beryl was one of them. From there, they became friends and ended up becoming life partners.

This book particularly highlights some amazing sections of Brian’s life, crossing over many years and events.
